Start a new holiday tradition on Broadway with Home for the Holidays, featuring some of the greatest voices of our generation performing contemporary takes on more than 25 perennial favorites.

Backed by a kinetic eight-piece rhythm and brass band, traditional favorites like "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "O Holy Night" provide heart as they come to life side-by-side with radio favorites such as "All I Want for Christmas is You" and "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)".

Kaitlyn Bristowe, star of The Bachelorette season 11, will provide seasonally themed narration while acclaimed actor and singer Danny Aiello offers stories and songs that share a glimpse into Christmas in Manhattan through the decades of his childhood. Home for the Holidays will also feature appearances by Bianca Ryan, Josh Kaufman & Candice Glover as well as YouTube stars Peter Hollens and Evynne Hollens.

Reviews

  • And now because ’tis the season to be jolly, here’s why Home for the Holidays might well be a Christmas cracker for you. Candice Glover, in particular, gives the most powerful and show-stealing vocals of the night and also seems to play the role of the ringleader, when it comes to breaking the fourth wall and engaging with the audience. Her stage presence creates the more relaxed, informal atmosphere that this revue needs to flourish. Her rendition of Faith Hill’s “Where Are You, Christmas?” is the standard-bearer of the show.
  • Of the three lead singers, Josh Kaufman comes off as the most assured, with a style that comfortably encompasses traditional carols as well as some more uptempo songs for which he eases into a surprisingly jazzy-soulful mode ("All I Want for Christmas Is You" and "That's What Christmas Means to Me"). Kaufman did a brief turn on Broadway as the lead in Pippin at the end of its most recent revival, and based on his engaging performance in Home for the Holidays, he might do well to consider returning to the musical stage.
