The fine line por Solea

Yinka Esi Graves
Accompanied by live vocalist Ismael Fernandez and guitarist Guillermo Guilén, for The fine line por Solea, Yinka Esi Graves dances Solea, one of the most traditional Flamenco styles Often calling to the past to conjure nostalgia and loss, with the Solea style, Graves establishes an intimate ‘tablao’ set up for exploring the space between Flamenco’s deep sense of cultural tradition, her personal roots, and how she slips in between the two.

Gully spring: Di exhortation

Shamar Wayne Watt
We live in an era that is in search of a revolution, whether it be politically, socially, educationally, religiously, communally or economically; an era yearning to believe in something… What of a revolution through the spirit?
I, Shamar Wayne Watt, decree and declare that a revolution is needed. I shall be the leader and follower of my own religion. With “I”, the advocate and with the power vested in me, I shall vanguard this insurgency. This revolution of mine shall be called Gully spring.
