Queer people come of age hyper-aware that they are different. Those who embrace theatrics can imagine exaggerated versions of themselves to celebrate, sometimes cope their outsider status… often to captive audiences. Using movement and original text, This is Desire details how growing up “other” makes space for creating our most fantastical selves.
