Acclaimed Israeli pianist Daniel Gortler returns to the Jewish Museum for a performance honoring American composer John Corigliano’s 80th Birthday.
The program which explores the idea of ‘variations on a theme’ highlights Corigliano’s “Fantasia On An Ostinato “ together with Mendelssohn’s Variations sérieuses, Op. 54, Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major, Op. 109 and Schumann’s epic Symphonic EtudesOp.13, along with the 5 posthumous variations.
