Vulnerability, Power, Combat, Consumption: Eating Daisies dives into the world of the cinematic to shed light on film’s most sought after muse: the female body.
Inspired by the splicing process of filmmaking, the work displays the “feminine” through a series of dreamlike scenes calling to question society’s narrow definition of female. Using media to generate a shifting environment, Eating Daisies, pushes us to our physical and emotional limits. Challenging the endurance of our natural bodies moving into space that is unbound.
