Hudson Hall presents three days of theater and music brought to you by Hudson's first family of creativity.
Led by matriach Pamela, the Badilas are a close-knit family of artists whose incredible talent and community spirit have made them a household name in Hudson. The Badila's unique blend of Pan-African tradition and pop culture resonates at home, and reverberates on the world stage.
Young Paris
Born in Paris and raised in Hudson, Young Paris' (aka Milandou Badila) unique blend of traditional Afro-culture, high fashion and visionary approach to music and media make him a creative pop-culture force to be reckoned with.
Lady Moon & The Eclipse
Led by Ngonda Badila (whose name means 'moon' in Congolese), Lady Moon & The Eclipse are a multi-cultural collective blending rhythms to create inspirational music with an emphasis on inclusivity and spiritual unity.
Spirit of the River
Directed by Pamela Badila, co-founder of the Badila family's Diata Diata Folkloric Theatre company, Spirit of the River blends West African folklore with dancing and drumming to offer a dramatic tale of courage, mystery, betrayal, and love.
