Race. History. Power.

Zoe, a black student at an Ivy League University, is called into her white professor’s office to discuss her thesis about slavery’s effect on the American Revolution

But very quickly, discussions of grammar and Google turn to race and reputation, and before they know it, they’re in dangerous territory neither of them had foreseen – and facing stunning implications that can’t be undone.

In this riveting two-person drama, a polite clash in perspectives explodes into an urgent and dangerous contemporary debate written with powerful truth and humor by Eleanor Burgess
