SlashR is cinematic experience.

SlashR is a tongue in cheek satire looking at our fractured culture in the wake of the the last national election.

Done in the style of the 1970s slasher movies of Dario Argento and John Carpenter and set in the not-too-distant-future just after the next election

What starts as a quest for high-end beachfront property exposes a conspiracy for world domination skewering the entirety of celebrity politics and the tendency for the US to find the shallowest and easiest solutions.

All that and a massive video installation....
Off-Off BroadwayPerformance ArtPlay - Drama
Show Notes: No Intermission
Age Guidance: 17
Audience Advisory: Performance contains strobe lights, smoke, violence & obscenity. Large scale video installation (8’x18’) can be disorienting. Intentionally crass humour in an absurdist landscape.
