"If You, Then There", a new evening-length work by choreographer Mei Yamanaka, explores how individuals and communities relate to one another across space, time, and seemingly disparate circumstances.
This work investigates how we sense both visible and invisible presences, and how attention effects existence and experience. Through both virtuosic movements and subtle, familiar gestures, dancers embody the shifting nature of intimacy, and the innate human desire to connect.
