collective terrain/s is a collective research process into sounding in the body. How does the body open up possibilities for voice and resistance? What resonances in the voice and body exist beyond language?

collective terrain/s will culminate in two weeks of events organized by choreographers Jasmine Hearn & Tatyana Tenenbaum and Danspace Project Associate Curator Lydia Bell, including performances by Hearn, Tenenbaum, Tendayi Kuumba, and Samita Sinha.

Thursday, April 25, 8pm: A shared evening of work by Tendayi Kuumba & Samita Sinha
Friday, April 26, 2-4pm: Workshop led by Jasmine Hearn, Tendayi Kuumba, Samita Sinha, and Tatyana Tenenbaum
Friday, April 26, 5pm: Publication launch party
Saturday, April 27, 8pm: A shared evening of work by Tendayi Kuumba & Samita Sinha
Thursday, May 2, 8pm: A shared evening of work by Jasmine Hearn & Tatyana Tenenbaum, followed by post-show discussion with Charmaine Warren
Friday, May 3, 8pm: A shared evening of work by Jasmine Hearn & Tatyana Tenenbaum, followed by post-show discussion with Okwui Okpokwasili
