Wicked City Blues is a Film Noir murder-mystery musical goes back and forth between a radio show performed in a studio and real scenes that a radio listener might imagine about a detective who falls in love with a femme fatale.

The music captures the Golden Age of Jazz in the 1940s with songs ranging from white hot swing numbers to bluesy torch ballads that take you through the dark streets and glitzy nightclubs of a city without pity.

The year is 1947, as private eye Mickey Morrison falls in love with his sexy red-headed client, Charlotte Blane. But when he finds out the truth about her, everything unravels, leaving dead bodies and Charlotte holding the gun. Only Mickey is left to save her or is it Charlotte’s plan to kill him too?

“Hilarious... spellbinding ... I left stunned…Having the live sound effects performed like they were in the 1940s is hysterical.”
