In the name of the fire, and the flame, and grace, performed by principal dancer Blakeley White-McGuire, is dedicated to all people suffering from the global refugee crises.
Virginie Mecene’s male trio UNUM... we are one...i s set to a score created through the dancers' breath by Jacopo Baboni-Schilingi.

Also on the program is I Love You, a duet performed by Kristine Bendul and Abdiel Jacobsen choreographed by Ron De Jesus of Hubbard Street
KINGS, a dance with narration on the Central Park 5 by emerging choreographer Meagan King,
Buglisi's iconic Sand, set to Philip Glass’ string quartet, is a tribute to the beauty of the desert and the soil of the earth we so cherish for our existence.

Accessibility

  • Elevator/Escalator

    The Ailey Citigroup Theater and all studios are accessible by elevator.
  • Entrance

    There is a ramp to access the front entrance of the building on 9th avenue. Stairs are available on the 55th street side of the building. There are two manual front doors operated by our security team and a revolving door.
  • Restroom

    Restrooms and water bottle-refilling stations are available on the lower level (LL), performance entry level (PE), ground floor, 5th floor and 6th floor. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on the ground floor and performance entry level (PE). Doors to those restrooms are wave-activated to open on both sides.
  • Visual Assistance

    All elevators have braille on their buttons identifying individual floors as well as a spoken voice to identify the floor when the doors open.
  • Wheelchair Info

    The Ailey Citigroup Theater and all studios are wheelchair accessible.
