Against a tumultuous backdrop of social and political upheaval emerges a passionate story of romance, sacrifice, and vengeance. This fresh new adaptation fuses the late 18th century with the contemporary, bringing the epic and universal face-to-face with the intensely intimate and personal.

“The best of times and the worst of times” are brought to vivid life on stage in this remarkable approach to the time-honored classic.

  • Assisted Listening System

    We have an infrared system made by Listen Technologies. The units come in two type: stethoscope (with ear pieces attached to the unit) and lanyard (worn around the neck with a set of headphones). We also have loops that can be plugged into the lanyards. The loop will transmit the audio feed to your hearing aid.

  • Parking

    The Civic Center Garage is located next door to Trinity Rep (165 Washington St.) with 450 parking spots (cash only). Additional parking is located within three blocks of the theater, including metered street parking (meters active until 9:00 pm). Parking may be limited when other events are occurring in the area.

    Theater is fully wheelchair accessible, with elevator services to the Chace Theater on the second floor.
