Sara, an enslaved rebel turned Union spy, and Sandra, a tenured professor in a modern-day private university, are having parallel experiences of institutional racism, though they live over a century apart. This New York premiere by MacArthur Genius Fellow Dominique Morisseau, directed by Stori Ayers, leaps through time to trace the identities of these two Black American women and explore the reins that racial and gender bias still hold on American educational systems today.

COVID-19 Safety Information:
Guests will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine to attend a performance and must show proof of vaccination with a valid ID at the time of entry into the Center. “Fully vaccinated” is defined by the CDC as has received all recommended doses in their primary series of COVID-19 vaccine, at least two weeks after final dose in primary series. All staff are currently required to be fully vaccinated and are subject to additional onsite testing protocols.
