On The Spot, running in NYC since 2015, is a uniquely unpredictable musical that puts Broadway talent with cream of the crop improvisers to create a brand new musical...on the spot!
Here's how it works:
• Guest singers travel from near and far to perform their favorite songs.
• On The Spot's cast of comedians are locked away in their castle, forbidden to know what the songs are!
• The cast hears these songs for the first time, one by one, as the singers perform them.
• In lieu of a one word suggestion, each song inspires the comedians to improvise a new scene.
• Music, magic and insanity happen right before the audience as songs and scenes alternate this way, creating a brand new book to this brand new musical!
