Playing @
Cherry Lane Theatre
38 Commerce Street, New York City, NY 10014
Alison Leiby's summer started with a bang and ended with a visit to Planned Parenthood. In between she had two root canals, a very scary trip to the "Fertility" section of a Missouri CVS and a dozen meltdowns about what you wear to your abortion, naturally. In her new show described as “humane and deeply funny” by The New York Times, she walks through the stupid minutiae, the backwards practices, and the surprising perspective that come with exercising your reproductive rights.

COVID Safety Information:
Patrons should be prepared to wear a mask for the duration of their visit, beginning from their arrival on site and the pre-screening process.
Screening will take place in front of the theater. Patrons will be guided to remain six feet apart until they have passed screening and have been admitted entry to the building. Screening will include:
1) Proof of vaccination: All patrons must show proof that they are fully-vaccinated, meaning it has been at least two weeks since they received the second dose in a two-dose series, or two weeks since they have received a single-dose vaccine. Acceptable forms of proof include vaccine card, photo of vaccine card, New York State’s Excelsior pass, or NYC COVID Safe app.
International vaccine records should include full name, date of birth, vaccine name, date administered, and administration site. Accepted international vaccines are: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac.
2) Proof of identification: Patrons will be asked to present a form of identification that matches their proof of vaccination.
3) Per CDC guidance for fully-vaccinated individuals, we ask that patrons who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, other than those due to chronic conditions, or patrons who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days to stay home. To review full CDC guidance for vaccinated individuals, click HERE.
If a patron does not pass screening they will not be allowed entry and their tickets will be refunded.
