In the 1950s and '60s, Audrey Hepburn was the queen of romantic comedy. Winning both the Tony and the Oscar in her twenties, Hepburn commanded the screen opposite the top leading men of her day, including Gregory Peck, Cary Grant and Fred Astaire. Her own life, however, was far less charmed than the lucky-in-love characters she so poignantly portrayed.
