When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. Now he’s in a race against time to fix the present, escape the past and send himself... back to the future. Based on the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment film, Back to the Future: The Musical has a book by Bob Gale and new music and lyrics by Emmy and Grammy Award winner Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy Award winner Glen Ballard, with additional songs from the film including "The Power of Love" and "Johnny B. Goode." Tony Award winner Roger Bart (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; The Producers) and Olivier Award nominee Hugh Coles reprise their West End performances as Doc Brown and George McFly, and Casey Likes (Almost Famous) stars as Marty McFly.

Damn fun...Sends the crowd out on a massive high...Where the show pulls out the stops is with its technical elements, including dazzling projections, special effects (Chris Fisher is credited as “Illusion Designer”) and innovative sound and lighting designs...Casey Likes lives up to his name by being thoroughly likable and energetic, while [Roger] Bart is a consistent hoot as the mad scientist with a warm heart.
—Frank Scheck, The Hollywood Reporter -
The Broadway veteran and Tony winner [Roger Bart] somehow achieves the seemingly impossible—taking an iconic role originally brought to life by Christopher Lloyd and making it his own...Jelani Remy rocks the house as a pre-mayor Goldie Wilson...the DeLorean brings all of the magic from the screen to the stage, and by the end of the show, audiences will truly believe a car can fly.
