How does a makeshift community take root in a mercenary world? The Trees offers an unexpected answer in the story of a brother and sister who unwittingly establish a utopia in the park next to their father's house. Lyrical and epic in scope, Agnes Borinsky’s (A Song of Songs) contemporary parable investigates the precariousness of staying put. Playwrights Horizons and Page 73 Productions present this world premiere, directed by Tina Satter (Is This A Room).
