James McLure's dark comedy, Lone Star, takes place in the cluttered backyard of a small town Texas bar. Roy, a brawny macho type, is back in town after a hitch in Vietnam, battling symptoms of PTSD. Centered on Roy and his younger brother Ray, this hilarious and poignant study of a pair of Texas "good ole boys" explores the depths of brotherhood and the scars to be dealt with from battles fought at home and abroad.

Fresh off their critically acclaimed Off Broadway premiere productions of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Ruth Stage returns with a captivating adaptation of this Vietnam War era play. Ana Isabelle (Rosalia in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story) stars as Elizabeth. Additionally, Lone Star will feature an original song written and performed by Ms. Isabelle. Ryan McCartan (Wicked, Frozen, Heathers The Musical) stars as Cletis, with Matt de Rogatis (Ruth Stage's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) as the suffering Vietnam veteran Roy Caulder. Dan Amboyer (TV Land's Younger, Showtime's Uncoupled) rounds out the cast as Ray. The production is directed by Joe Rosario.
