This classic musical is based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews exploring how American workers' relationships to their work ultimately reveal essential aspects of their humanity. The original production was nominated for six Tony Awards. It was updated for the modern age in 2012 and is as relevant today as when it first appeared on Broadway. Presented by the St. Jean's Players, Working is adapted from Terkel's book by Nina Faso & Stephen Schwartz with additional contributions by Gordon Greenberg and features songs by Craig Carnelia, James Taylor, Mary Rodgers, Micki Grant, Stephen Schwartz, Susan Birkenhead and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
