RITE is a healing ceremony, a meditative ritual and an exorcism of the ego.

Choreographed by Valerie Green/Dance Entropy Artistic Director Valerie Green, RITE is a multi-faceted exploration of our internal struggles with self-image and societal pressures. With a cast of six male dancers, the piece serves as a physical invocation, guiding viewers on a vulnerable journey from Form to Clarity.

Inspired by shamanic journeying and altered states of consciousness, the performance taps into the dancers' instincts, creating a trance-based dance that is a celebration of the human experience. A dynamic exploration of rhythm, energy and the profound connections between body and soul.

Through their movement, they aim to provoke contemplation and ignite a release of what weighs them down. RITE offers a unique opportunity to delve deep into humanity and emerge with a newfound clarity, a personal and collective spiritual catharsis.
