Jack, a hero ex-cop, anti-police brutality crusader and self-proclaimed sex addict, has written a screenplay about his life. In an attempt to win her back, he enlists the help of Ashley, his on again, off again girlfriend, to make sure the script isn't offensive. Turns out, everyone seems to be offended by something. Riley, Jack’s former fling, is livid about how he over-sexualized her avant garde performance art. Jose, also a jilted lover, chimes in with his views on this problematic representation of the LGBTQ community. And Jack’s upstairs neighbor, Andie, a bi-racial intellectual, has her own thoughts on what makes someone “woke AF.” Over the course of an evening as an unseasonal blizzard rages outside, they attempt to agree on what is and isn’t offensive, who gets to say what, when and why and at what point does political correctness do more harm than good? Presented by Randomly Specific Theatre.
