The New York City Ballet 2024-2025 Season commences with six dynamic programs, including George Balanchine’s beloved comedic full-length Coppélia in its 50th year since first appearing at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in 1974. An all-Peck program displays a range of Justin Peck’s creations on his 10th anniversary as resident choreographer—including the exuberant Sufjan Stevens collaboration Everywhere We Go. Lar Lubovitch’s pas de deux Each In His Own Time joins the repertory, and dancemaker Caili Quan makes her introduction to NYCB audiences with a world premiere for the annual Fall Fashion Gala, joining Tiler Peck’s acclaimed Concerto for Two Pianos and the Company premiere of Gianna Reisen’s Signs. Additional highlights include George Balanchine’s Mozartiana, Christopher Wheeldon’s This Bitter Earth, Alexei Ratmansky’s Concerto DSCH, and Jerome RobbinsGlass Pieces.
