After Othello is an original dark comedy featuring the often-forgotten role of the Clown from Shakespeare’s play The Tragedy of Othello, The Moor of Venice. After Othello follows the role of the currently unemployed, hungover and somewhat bitter Clown (who has seen far better days), as he takes us on a comical, absurd and often searing search to uncover the "truth" behind the controversial Shakespearean tragedy from the Clown's point of view: a surprising journey that questions our notions of honesty, jealousy, evil and complicity.
