Thirty years apart, Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford provoked a reckoning about who is given the power to shape the future of our country by telling the story of one of the most private moments of their lives in one of the most public settings imaginable. With an ensemble of four actors speaking verbatim from the transcripts of these pivotal hearings, these two women’s stories and their consequential impact on our nation can be seen side by side in a new light in Waterwell’s illuminating new production, created by Lee Sunday Evans and Elizabeth Marvel and directed by Evans.
