In 2025, more than half a dozen each of New York City and world premiere works populate the exhilarating lineup of programs being offered by 17 engagements of revered companies and groundbreaking dancemakers, hailing from locations the world over, from Argentina to The Joyce’s own backyard. The passion of tango, the fire of flamenco and soul-stirring tap accent a season chock full of boundary-pushing contemporary dance, both time-honored and brand-new. Bookending the season created and danced by some of the world’s most talented choreographers and collaborators are larger-than-life celebrations of two titans of dance: Martha Graham and Jerome Robbins. Over the next six months of diverse dance offerings, The Joyce is poised to bring unparalleled artistry to New York audiences once more, further cementing its status as New York’s home for dance.

Anima Animal brings Herman Cornejo’s vision to life, reimagining a lost legend through breathtaking choreography by Anabella Tuliano, an original score and the mesmerizing performances of Grupo Cadabra.

February 25-March 9
World Champion tango superstars Germán Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi light up The Joyce with the New York premiere of Tango After Dark, an electrifying fusion of bold choreography and Piazzolla’s iconic music that captures the seductive rhythms of Buenos Aires.

Internationally renowned Gauthier Dance brings an electrifying selection of contemporary works from some of today's most influential choreographers.

March 25-30
Hubbard Street Dance Chicago returns to The Joyce with a thrilling program featuring iconic works and three New York premieres, showcasing the bold, eclectic artistry that defines this celebrated company.

BODYTRAFFIC returns to The Joyce with This Reminds Me of You, a captivating program that explores the profound power of memory through dynamic works by Juel D. Lane, Trey McIntyre and Matthew Neenan.

April 22-27
A.I.M by Kyle Abraham returns to The Joyce with a powerful program of thought-provoking works by visionary choreographers, exploring identity, resilience and connection through dynamic movement.

Trisha Brown Dance Company
April 29-May 4
The Trisha Brown Dance Company honors Trisha Brown’s revolutionary movement style with iconic works and a stunning new commission by Lee Serle, exploring visibility, invisibility and the power of perception.

Gibney Company
May 6-11
Gibney Company presents two world premieres by Lucinda Childs and Peter Chu, showcasing the company’s dynamic versatility through Childs’ intricate precision and Chu’s holistic, sensation-driven choreography.

Parsons Dance
May 13-24
Parsons Dance returns to The Joyce with an exhilarating program featuring iconic works by David Parsons, a world premiere by Rena Butler and Robert Battle’s dynamic The Hunt, showcasing the company’s athleticism, virtuosity and joyous energy.

Ayodele Casel
May 28-June 8
This spring, "tap royalty" (The New York Times) Ayodele Casel premieres a new work at The Joyce, blending the transformative spirit of tap dance with the energy of 90s Hip-Hop, while honoring the African American roots and legacy of the art form.

Ballet Tech Kids Dance
June 12-15
They’re back with their "winning mix of discipline and courage" (The New York Times)! Kids Dance returns with a dynamic program spanning tap, jazz, ballet and surprises, featuring new works by Edgar Peterson, a classic dance battle and a quirky urban folk piece by Eliot Feld.

Paul Taylor Dance Company
June 17-22
“One of the most exciting, innovative and delightful dance companies in the entire world.” (The New York Times) Paul Taylor Dance Company returns to The Joyce to take audiences deeper into Paul Taylor’s choreographic genius. 

Pilobolus
June 24-July 13
Journey into the astonishing universe of Pilobolus’s Other Worlds Collection, where heart-stopping grace, acrobatic power and breathtaking artistry explore the human experience through visionary collaborations, a return of a classic and the NYC premiere of Flight.

Mark Morris Dance Group
July 15-26

This summer, Mark Morris Dance Group celebrates its 45th anniversary with two stunning programs that highlight the depth and versatility of Morris’s choreography, featuring world premieres, beloved repertory and live music in a blend of wit, musicality and emotional resonance.

Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca
July 29-August 10
"Internationally recognized as one of Spain's most respected troupes” (The Boston Globe), Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca continues to showcase its mastery of flamenco and stretch the boundaries of the art form.
