Liberating, late 1970s. Nick and Jan Cheyney have recently moved into a dilapidated attic apartment in the East Village, New York City. Beneath the peeling wallpaper, they are amazed to uncover a message scrawled in lipstick by 1920s dancer Madeline Marsh. Fascinated by the discovery, they are unprepared for the return of its ghostly author, still desperate for a second chance at becoming a star.

Nominee of 7 NYTF and 11 BroadwayWorld Awards including Best Musical and winner of Best Score, Maddie is inspired by the film Maxie starring Glenn Close and based on the original novel Marion's Wall by Jack Finney. Directing and choreographing is multi award-winning Andrew Winans. The new musical features an illustrious score by Stephen Keeling, lyrics by Shaun McKenna, book by McKenna and Steven Dexter and arrangements and orchestrations by Joshua Gregg Fried. Maddie was born at a Stephen Sondheim workshop at University of Oxford before playing an acclaimed run at London’s Lyric Theatre on the West End.
