Playing @
The Ruby Theatre
35 West 39th St, New York, NY 10018
The stage is set in a hidden venue. One professional actor has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in Shakespeare’s greatest love story: Romeo & Juliet. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the remaining sober actors try to keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking…and what they’re drinking!
Off-Off BroadwayPlay - Comedy
Show Notes: We do not condone excessive drinking. Our drunk actors are on a regular rotation system and are carefully monitored at all times. Drinking in moderation can be fun. Drinking to excess can ruin your life. We promote healthy drinking.
Age Guidance: 21
Audience Advisory: Drunk Shakespeare is an adult (21+) only show. The show includes strong language, vulgarity, sexual humor, and audience interaction. It may also include elements of nudity. The show is different each night depending on who’s drinking…and what they’re drinking, so you never know what to expect!
