Zaglada is a Polish word meaning annihilation specifically used within Poland to refer to the Holocaust. This psychological crime thriller peels away at layers of historical PTSD in four New Yorkers who unexpectedly meet in a Queens police precinct. Jerzy Kozlowski, a 90-year-old resident of Maspeth, is exposed by African American journalist Danielle Hooper as having been a KAPO in Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Kozlowski shoots at her and is arrested for firing an illegal firearm. His name appears on a Homeland Security watchlist so he is detained at the precinct by NYPD Intelligence Bureau Officer Frank Napoli. In a race against time, Homeland Security Officer Sonia Sokolow arrives confronting Kozlowski with his past. What is a human being capable of doing to protect themselves and the ones they love and will justice prevail?
