Osni the Flare is a puppet ballet set to a full-length original album. The project is the continuation of a trilogy that blends music and puppetry, unfolding a creation myth, a fable of how things came to be for a world to be traversed for years to come.

Osni, a dancing puppet, embarks on a quest to safeguard an apple tree from the imminent winter chill. Beckoned by a loon, Osni sets forth on a blue canoe, drifting deep into a cavernous world. Her spirit alight with flame dances a luminous blaze into existence, bringing about the origins of fire, a testament to humanity’s curiosity and mortal fervor.

There will be a 15 minute pre-show by Tiresias. Tiresias presents an excerpt of New Weird Future, a speculative eco-opera and exuberant puppet pageant that envisions multispecies futures in the ruins of capitalism and empire.
