This original Commedia dell'Arte-inspired musical is about love in its many (often tedious) forms: from unrequited love, to “true love," and everything in between. The characters’ ribald exploration of what they think love is makes for a zany story of misidentification and trickery as they each pursue their own happy endings. This love story has dashing soldiers, star-crossed lovers reciting swoonworthy prose, and... bigfoot?!

When a lost stranger lands in an unexpectedly lively town, he finds himself in a farce of frivolous proportions as the town’s colorful inhabitants tangle him up in their various pursuits of love and life’s purpose. Through an absurd series of minor misdirections and major misdemeanors, star-crossed lovers chase forbidden loves, aspiring heroes hunt for glory, and silly sidekicks pursue their dreams while our lost stranger tries to find himself feeling a little less lost along the way.
