Inspired by more than three dozen firsthand accounts and interviews, Omeed's Tapestries tells the story of an Iranian shopkeeper and his partner who quietly plan to flee their homeland in order to live openly as a same-sex couple. When a devout neighbor discovers their secret, their hopes for freedom and self-determination are placed in jeopardy.
