Instructions for a Séance is a site-specific DIY séance that invites an audience to conjure escape artist Harry Houdini to teach us how to escape our lives.

Part seance, part cheeky historical re-enactment, Instructions for a Séance explores the gauntlet that is motherhood, artistic ambition, and escapism. Written and performed by Katie Bender.
