Comedic performer Morgan Bassichis, joined by musician Ethan Philbrick, brings three nights of highly relatable stories set to infectious Klezmer music to Abrons Arts Center.
In Bassichis’ own words, “What I lack in hard skills I more than make up for in catchy melodies and wacky twists.” Henry Street Settlement Founder Lillian Wald, Amy Winehouse, and the ghosts of the Henry Street Playhouse all make appearances in these “new Jewish folktales for the whole neighborhood.”
