Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated violinists of his era. His restless curiosity, passion, and multi-faceted musical interests have earned him the rare title of “classical music superstar.”

This enchanted evening opens with Mendelssohn’s evocative Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as conductor Matthew Halls casts a spell under his mesmerizing wand. The dream continues with the “impeccable fiddling” (Gramophone) of Joshua Bell on Mozart’s spellbinding Violin Concerto in D major and closes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8.

Matthew Hall conducts the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra (New York debut)
