Sybarite5 returns to the cell
Winners of the Concert Artists Guild Competition, and following an international tour, SYBARITE5, a string quintet dedicated to mold-breaking programming, returns to cell as the 2019 ensemble in residence to present new music and the world premiere of new Composagrams from Ray Rustig and the Juilliard Evening division
Comprised of Sami Merdinian and Sarah Whitney, violins; Angela Pickett, viola; Laura Metcalf, cello; and Louis Levitt, bass, Sybarite5 has taken audiences around the US by storm. From Radiohead to Mozart, this group of talented, diverse musicians has changed the perception of chamber music performance.
