“Hang there like a fruit, my soul, till the tree die.”  — William Shakespeare

A rarely performed story of intrigue and deception in the face of steely resolve, Cymbeline bears the wondrous language of the seasoned playwright through wild plot twists, mistaken identities, and a heart-rending quest for love. Written in 1609, Cymbeline is generally regarded as a comedy, although it also has elements of tragedy and romance.

Tamara Hickey and Jonathan Epstein of last summer's Merchant of Venice head the cast and Tina Packer directs this stunning tale, produced for the first time on the Company's Mainstage.
