Doug Varone works in dance, theatre, opera, film, and fashion. He is a passionate educator and articulate advocate for dance. By any measure, his work is extraordinary for its emotional range, kinetic breadth, and the many arenas in which he works.

“Varone’s movement style is nuanced in such a way that is all his own, mixing dance, gesture and pedestrian nonchalance in subtle and unexpected ways.”Chicago Tribune
