Conductor Andrew Manze, celebrated for his “unstoppable drive and energy” (Herald Scotland), and violinist Vilde Frang join the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra for an evening featuring two of Beethoven’s crowning achievements.
Frang lends her “startling emotional sincerity and inspired musical imagination” (The Strad) to the composer’s Violin Concerto. Manze then plumbs the emotional depths of the epic “Eroica” Symphony, a majestic paean to the human spirit.
