The inaugural performance of the newly established Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the ballet based on the Shakespeare comedy with music by Felix Mendelssohn, will be presented by the company of professional dancers and students, directed and choreographed by Gabriel Chajnik.

This classic ballet about love and magic, originally conceived by George Ballanchine, will be reinvented for our contemporary times. A delightful romp through Shakespeare’s enchanted forest will be superb fun for the entire family. This performance will be accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by Jason Tramm.
