BalaSole Dance Company, founded in 2010 by Roberto Villanueva, is a multi-genre and all-inclusive dance company. It is the first hybrid dance organization in the United States that is solely dedicated to bridging the gaps in the field of dance. It is the only dance company-showcase, the first of its kind, that provides artists with artistic freedom, mentorship, artistic freedom, an arena to express their own artistic voice, and an environment for cross-pollination of styles.
Roberto Villanueva, Founder/Artistic Director of BalaSole Dance Company, presents MEZCLA, a new program of solos in a broad range of dance styles, music choices and artistic voices. It features Guest Soloist, Nicole Corea who is a member of Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. The other soloists featured are Kayla Affrunti, Laura Assante, Donterreo Culp, Noëlle Davé, Aurora Hastings, Misaki Hayama, Mikael Jaworski, Benji Martin Jr., Ashley Rossi and Lauren Settembrino.

Elevator/Escalator
The Ailey Citigroup Theater and all studios are accessible by elevator. -
Entrance
There is a ramp to access the front entrance of the building on 9th avenue. Stairs are available on the 55th street side of the building. There are two manual front doors operated by our security team and a revolving door. -
Restroom
Restrooms and water bottle-refilling stations are available on the lower level (LL), performance entry level (PE), ground floor, 5th floor and 6th floor. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on the ground floor and performance entry level (PE). Doors to those restrooms are wave-activated to open on both sides. -
Visual Assistance
All elevators have braille on their buttons identifying individual floors as well as a spoken voice to identify the floor when the doors open. -
