“The Understudy” is set in a Broadway theater where Roxanne is the stage manager.

Charged with running the understudy rehearsal for the production, she finds her professional and personal life colliding when Harry, a journeyman actor and her ex-fiancé, is cast as the understudy to Jake, a mid-tier action star yearning for legitimacy.

The comedy is a humanistic look at people trying to do what they love in the face of obstacles.

An elevator is available in the lobby for access to the mezzanine level of the theater and lobby.
Parking

Parking is available free of charge to patrons of the Playhouse. As parking is limited, please arrive early and carpool when possible. Ample parking for patrons with special needs is available.
Passenger Loading Zone

A ramp provides access to the Playhouse along the side of the building facing the parking lot. The entrance, marked with a blue sign, is at the opposite side of the building from the front porch.

Handicap-accessible facilities are available in the main lobby and the mezzanine level. The mezzanine is accessible via the elevator.
