Broadway may be shuttered through the end of the year, but you can catch Broadway performers live in person starting this weekend at Radial Park at Halletts Point, a 50,000 square-foot open-air space in Astoria, Queens located along the waterfront. This drive-in experience will feature live entertainment followed by a theatre-centric screening. It kicks off this Saturday, September 26 at 8 p.m. ET with a recording of The Phantom of the Opera's 25th-anniversary concert, filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall in 2011 and starring Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess. Before the movie, two Phantom vets, Derrick Davis and Ali Ewolt, will sing highlights from Andrew Lloyd Webber's beloved score, accompanied by an 11-piece orchestra.

Busy on Saturday? This Phantom lineup continues through October 3 and will be joined by a late-night Purple Rain screening starting October 1—a little less theatre, a little more rock 'n' roll perhaps, but preshow live singing is still promised. Tickets run $75 to $100 per vehicle or picnic tables that seat up to four. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, and safety protocols such as social distancing and contactless temperature checks will be enforced. Located at 27-50 1st Street in Astoria, Radial Park is easily accessible by car and NYC Ferry. Note that ticket prices go up by $25 on October 1, so be sure to book a preview!
