A Greek Tragedy Becomes a Spanish Dance
At one moment during Antigona , Noche Flamenco’s adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone , the chorus leader commands, “Let us dance and sing in the face of tragedy.” Martín Santangelo and Soledad Barrio have taken Sophocles’ command literally.
