Directions Bus

The M101, M102 and M103 buses run north on Third Avenue and south on Lexington Avenue. The M1, M2, M3, M4 and X90 buses run north on Madison Avenue. From the West Side, take the M86 or M96 across to Lexington Avenue.

Take the Lexington Avenue 4, 5 or 6 train to 86th Street. 92Y is located five blocks north on Lexington Avenue. The 6 train also stops at 96th Street. The Y is located four blocks south on Lexington Avenue.

Assisted Listening System

Kaufmann Concert Hall is equipped with Williams Sound systems for the hearing impaired. Operating on an FM signal, the system provides a clean sound with no static or dead spots. Headsets are free and may be picked up at the coat check with deposit of a driver's license or major credit card. Buttenwieser Hall is equipped with the Sennheiser infrared system that uses an emitter with infrared signal.

Curb Ramps

Curb ramps are located on 91st and 92nd Street. The main entrance at 92nd Street and Lexington is ramped for the mobility bound and is open 24/7

The secondary entrance on 91st Street has an entrance at street level and has a front door switch; please note that this entrance is open during daytime hours when 92Y classes are in session

Discount parking is available to 92Y patrons at the GGMC Garage on 92nd Street between Second and Third Avenues. Have your ticket validated at the 92Y Sales and Customer Service Center in the main lobby.
