TAP makes theatergoing possible for young people and adults with physical and sensory disabilities. We provide a full spectrum of services ranging from autism-friendly performances of Broadway shows, to accessible seating, to open captioned, sign language interpreted and audio described performances of Broadway and Off Broadway shows. We also train theatres here and abroad on how to set up open captioning programs and autism-friendly shows, and offer an educational enrichment program for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind or with low vision.

Feld Entertainment - which owns and produces Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Feld Motorsports, Disney on Ice, Disney Live and Marvel Universe Live - has a longstanding commitment to making live entertainment performances accessible to underserved individuals including children with disabilities. TDF is proud to be working with Feld Entertainment on the autism-friendly performance of Disney Junior Live on Tour! Pirate & Princess Adventure, scheduled for April 2014.

Held at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), the Gala began with cocktails and a seated dinner, followed by a one-night-only performance hosted by Tovah Feldshuh and starring Tony Award nominee and recording artist Melissa Errico, the singing string quartet Well-Strung with a special appearance by Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson and performers from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
