TDF Accessibility Programs offer a range of services so individuals with disabilities can enjoy the performing arts in a welcoming and supportive environment.
TDF Autism Friendly Performances on Broadway
TDF partners with professionals in the field and consultants with autism to make shows accessible for everyone. Slight adjustments to the production are made, including the reduction of jarring sounds or spotlights that shine into the audience. House lights are also faintly dimmed. Helpful resources are created by TDF to prepare audience members for a day at the theatre.
TDF Accessibility Program for Students
TDF offers accessible Broadway performances to students at NYC-area schools. Most of these young people are first-time theatregoers.
