National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene:Â Amid Falling Walls

A few years ago, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, the venerable company behind Yiddish Fiddler, presented an evening of songs, stories and poetry created by European Jews during the Holocaust. All Arts recorded a truncated version of this potent piece, a testament to the enduring power of art, even in the face of evil. Cabaret Tony nominee Steven Skybell leads the cast of this cabaret, which is performed in Yiddish with English subtitles.
