In Jagged Little Pill, the thought-provoking Broadway musical inspired by Alanis Morissette’s album of the same name, Celia Rose Gooding and Lauren Patten play Frankie and Jo, high schoolers with an “it’s complicated” relationship status. But their off-stage relationship is straightforward: they’re close friends who dearly miss performing together eight times a week. That was obvious when they sat down for an intimate chat about their show, their hopes for Broadway’s return and their funniest Alanis stories.
